I don’t know why this happened, but whilst walking home this story popped into my head. The scene played out over and over again. So I thought that I should write it down on paper before I forget it.
So after a few hours of typing on the keyboard. Then after turning on the PC and typing some more for some more hours, the story Whistling Harmony was written out and challenge #86 from my 101 Things in 1001 Days was completed. You can read the story by clicking on this link.
I’ll be the first to admit that this written piece is not that great. It didn’t capture the full feeling that I had when I imagined the story. It’s a corny love story. The writing style is kinda shoddy too. I was told that I wrote it just like how I talk. Which is not neccessarily something that translates to text well.
But it’s a short story none the less. Please have a read and tell me what you think.
They say that everyone has at least one novel in them. One good story to tell. This is not my one novel. I may write that novel one day, but this story is some good practice for me.
