One thing that I’ve noticed over recent months is that I’ve not been having dreams when I’m asleep. Well, none that I can remember. There are various studies to show that people go into different states of sleeps, which leads to having several dreams a night. Yet people tend to forget their dreams when they wake up.
Then earlier on this week I had a dream. Unfortunately I can only remember small parts of the dream. I remember being in this multi-level apartment and I saw all these different kind of Pokemon of various sizes scattered all over the place. And they were real! As in not cartoon graphics.
It made me remember the time a couple years ago a period when I was remembering dreams a lot more frequently. I even did several vlog posts of the dreams that I had. It made for interesting content. Well… I found it interested anyway.
I love hearing about dreams. My dreams, other people dreams. I find them fascinating even though I might not be able to fully understand them. It really is one of those “You had to be there” moments. Still, that shouldn’t stop you from stopping me in the middle of the street and telling me what bizarre dream you had last night.
It makes me want to make more of attempt to remember my dreams again. Especially attempting lucid dreaming, which sounds like a cool idea. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be able to control the reality of their dreams? But for now I would be content with remembering the weird shit that occurs in my head as my brain tries to process and organise all the information that it absorbed and retains.
I’ll let you guys know the next dream I have.
What dreams have you had?
