Grax tests out the Pictek PTOD001 action camera. Also welcome to the pilot episode of the new vlogging series that Grax is doing.
Grax does some live stream testing on YouTube using ElGato HD60 capture card and Panasonic HC-V250 camcorder.
Here is some test footage of me cycling through Oxford with an SJ4000 Action Cam attached to my helmet. The main purpose is to test the low-light of the action camera.
Grax shows you how to build a raft to hold an action cam. Perfect for floating down a river, lake, sea, etc. He is using an SJ4000 action cam, but any kind of action cam (like the GoPro series) should work just fine as well.
This is raw footage of the SJ4000 Action Cam as it is attached inside and outside a car using a nice, rigid car mount that I bought from eBay.
This is a test recording of the SJ4000 when attached to a guitar. I recorded the action cam at 1080p. I am splicing footage between the SJ4000 and the Nikon D5300 DSLR camera and then I the quality to 720p. I did all this using Adobe Premiere 5.5.
This is raw footage taken on a SJ4000 action cam.
